Profiles:

Lisa Brougham
Lisa has been the lifeblood of the club since its inception. She wears many hats and is responsible for the planning and implementation of BIGC’s recreational and competitive programming; the hiring, scheduling and supervising of coaching staff; fundraising and community events; and working with the Board of Directors to meet the goals and objectives of the club. Lisa Brougham coaches competitive classes along with Connie Sherman.

Lisa also works as a Nationally Certified Learning Facilitator for Gymnastics Foundations, Active Start Gymnastics, Track and Field, Special Olympics and a coach in Active Start Gymnastics and Special Olympics. She facilitates coaching courses and seminars across Canada. Her involvements include:

- Committee member - Gymnastics BC Recreational Education
- NCCP Level 3 Certified Coach - Artistic Women's Gymnastics

Connie Sherman
Connie has been coaching gymnastics for 18 years and is NCCP Level 3 Certified in Women's Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline and is a certified Preschool coach. She is a L.E.A.P. evaluator, a Provincial Tumbling Judge and Regional Men's Judge.

Natasha Cushman
Natasha has been coaching at BIGC since 2009. She is NCCP Level 1 Certified in Women's Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline level 1 coach and has her First Aid/CPR certificate. She also has an early childhood education diploma from Langara College and has trained as a doula. Natasha has coached in Ontario where she is from and at Phoenix Gym in Vancouver before coming to Bowen. We feel very lucky to have Natasha working with our kids in the Interclub group this year.

Rozhin Emadi
Rozhin is a certified NCCP Level 2 Women's Artistic Gymnastics coach. She is a provincial level high hchool gymnast that has placed in the top eight at BC High School Gymnastics Championships the past two years. Currently in grade 12, Rozhin works at West Vancouver gymnastics and Bowen Island gymnastics part time. She is well loved by the little gymnasts in our recreational program.

Emily Allan
Emily coaches Preschool and Recreational girl's classes. She was a level 1 competitive gymnast and has just taken her National Level 1 Gymnastics Certification. She was a coach in training for 3 years.
